Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must ensure that their passport is valid for at least six months when applying for the Trusted Traveller Program.

The registration remains valid for up to 5 years or until the passport’s expiration, whichever occurs first.

Steps to Register with Trusted Traveller Program

Step 1

Apply through the government. website - www.ftittp.mha.gov & fill in the required details.

Step 2

After verification by the Bureau of Immigration, the approved passenger will receive an email or SMS to proceed.

Step 3

Proceed for the biometric enrolment at the Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO) or a dedicated counter at Delhi Airport. Note: Proceed with the KYC process.

Step 4

Submit biometric details to complete the registration process.

  • 1 Proceed to the dedicated TTP e-gates installed at the Immigration area.
  • 2 Scan your passport and boarding pass at the first e-gate. If verified, proceed to the next e-gate.
  • 3 At the next e-gate, your face will be scanned. If verified, your emigration process is complete.

The service is currently available at Terminal 3 of Delhi Airport.

Delhi Airport is the first to commence the initiative, FTI will also be launched at 7 major Indian airports during phase 1.

Passengers can register through the government website -www.ftittp.mha.gov.in. After login/registering, users will have to submit their documents as a prerequisite.

The Fast-Track Immigration Programme mainly saves time for passengers travelling outside India. It is also applicable for arriving passengers.

This facility will be available free of cost for all passengers.
