Learning @ Delhi Airport
Delhi Airport (Indira Gandhi International Airport) believes that the key to its success is its committed work force. The performance driven culture at Delhi Airport is supported through a structured learning and development interventions, which further enables business results for the organisation and its career management processes.
As part of the on boarding process, you will be inducted to the organisation by an Induction Process, with emphasis on the organisation’s Values and Beliefs and the Airport Business Environment. In order to settle in the new environment, business managers at senior levels also undergo the New Manager Assimilation Program.
We conduct learning events based on the training needs identified for the role that you will be handling in the organisation. We conduct both technical and behavioral program in collaboration with GMR Aviation Academy and others training partners of repute across the globe. GMR Aviation Academy runs aviation related programs for Airport and Airlines and has many national and international accreditation like that of ACI, IATA, BACS, MOCA.
In order to accelerate your development, we partner with IIMs, MDI, AIMA, CII etc. for various management development programs and also to execute our muti tier leadership development program across various levels. We have strong process of career dialogues, coaching and mentoring as part of the development interventions. We also facilitate you with transition programs to move from one level to another and one job role to another within the organisation.

Professional Courses @ Delhi Airport
GMR Aviation Academy (GMR AA) was established at the state-of-the art Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Shamshabad, Hyderabad in 2009 & subsequently at Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi, with the objective of providing professional training and enhancing the knowledge and skills of GMR Airports’ personnel. Over the years, it has emerged as a global gateway for Aviation industry in India for not only GMR’s own personnel; but also for the people of its peers and allied agencies in India and abroad. The Academy conducts training Programmes accredited by Airport Council International (ACI), International Air transport Association (IATA), International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), and Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS) of India with focus on Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa regions.
GMR AA has various international Accreditations & approvals from ICAO, ACI, IATA, DGCA and BCAS of India. The Academy is one of its kind in India to have been conferred with the “Regional Center of Excellence” (RTCE) stature by ICAO and as “Global Training Hub” by the ACI. GMR AA have been granted the status of Authorized Training School by IATA for Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR) which is also approved by DGCA. In addition, GMR AA has coordinated with DIAL & GHIAL Aviation Security Training Institute to conduct Security trainings duly approved by BCAS.
